Higher combusting pressure or higher rev limit that achieved by engine tuning will increase the load of the bearings. Especially for con-rod bearing, which has smaller diameter and thinner width than main bearing, bigger pressure burdened though lubrication is harder and it will worn out easily. Micro finished metal is a high performance bearing that secured enough quality and reliability to be even used for PRO-GTR drag racing engine, which produces more than 1000ps at over 10000revolutions per minute.
We applied F112grade forging bronze-copper alloy for the material of rod holder, which has great durability and extreme anti-worn character. In addition to it, to reduce friction, giving 'micro finish coating' on the surface so that the con-rod will keep lubricated from stored oil in micro-pool formed on its surface.
