The MBRP General Motors Duramax system is manufactured to replace the original equipment exhaust system components on any 2001-2006 Duramax equipped pick up. The MBRP Duramax system is a complete four inch mandrel bent T-304 or T-409 stainless steel system that includes a MBRP spiral flow core muffler. All T-304 Stainless Steel systems come with five inch T-304 mirror polished stainless steel, dual wall tips. The system has been designed to accommodate any of the various cab and bed length designs currently produced by General Motors.
The MBRP Duramax System will lower your Exhaust Gas Temperature by as much as 200 degrees, while allowing your turbocharger quicker spool up time. This system has been dyno tested to produce as much as 25 horsepower and 39 foot pounds of torque. The horsepower and torque gains are extremely important, but the ability of an exhaust system to lower your exhaust gas temperatures so you can add other performance improvements is of prime consideration for your engine. There are also some mileage gains to be realized, based on your driving style and location.
